THE WONDER OF IT ALL
So I’ve been back from San Francisco for about four days now and I’m still a little bit lagged. So while I work out what I’m going to write in terms of a proper post, here’s a few comic people photos I took at Wonder Con in the following order: Joe Kubert, Heidi Macdonald, Ted Naifeh (x2), Tom Spurgeon, David Mack, Amanda Conner, Jimmy Palmiotti (x2), Mark Schultz, Ted McKeever, Darwyn Cooke, David Mandel, Dave Johnson, Jeremy Atkins and Randy Stradley, Scott Dunbier and Matt Wagner. Phew…

THE WONDER OF IT ALL PART TWO
So here are a few other photos I took during the show and just after it, including one of Michael Chabon, Pete Bickford and his son and daughter, Golden Gate Bridge during and after heavy rain with Baz and Andy C, looking out to Alcatraz, Baz and Andy in the train station on Market, all of us at teardown at Wonder Con with our cardboard table sign and Andy C and Susie at the table. The weather started off as torrential rain at Golden Gate but the sun came out so just look at the difference in light…

THE WONDER OF IT ALL PART ONE
Since Wonder Con was weeks ago now, I thought I’d put two more posts up about it and then leave it there. The Thursday before the show, me and Baz walked up to North Beach and then up the Coit Tower. The weather was blue sky with white fluffy clouds and it was a very pleasant day. During the show, we sold quite a few copies of the TRIPWIRE Superhero Special, the Annual 2008 and we even sold a couple of Studio Spaces too. We made a few new contacts too including Michael Chabon (Cavalier & Clay), David Mandel (writer on Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm) and I caught up with people like Mike Mignola and Howard Chaykin and I had a chat with Gary Gianni, Mark Schultz and John Fleske for a feature for the TRIPWIRE Adventure Special. We did a panel on the Friday which had a few people wander in. I also caught up with Pete Bickford for lunch. On the Monday, all three of us went to Fisherman’s Wharf, which I thought was rather cheesy (it was the first time I’d been there). So here are a few photos from the show and our wanderings in North Beach…

LAST POST
This will be my last post before I head off to the States early on Monday morning. I picked up the TRIPWIRE Superhero Special on Friday morning with Andy Colman and they look pretty great. Copies are in Gosh as of today (Saturday), as well as Forbidden Planet and Orbital in London. I think Diamond will be delivering the UK copies next week and the US should get them the week after. We’ll be at Wonder Con in San Francisco from Feb 27th to March 1st so feel free to pop by the TRIPWIRE table, SP07, and come and say hello. We’ll be selling the TRIPWIRE Superhero Special as well as Studio Space paperbacks and hardcovers. We also have a panel at the show on Friday 27th at 4.30pm in Room 236/238, so feel free to come and join us at that too…
I may be posting while I’m out in the US as I’m popping into LA first to visit the Heroes office to give them their copies of the Special, so feel free to keep checking here…
